Supercharger questions
I know yall probably get sick of reading crap that i post on stupid simple questions...ok here we go
The supercharger i bought comes with 39lb injectors...i have a ford racing dual fuel pump, and i was wondering if i should be using bigger injectors than that? i am going to run 10psi with a somewhat safe tune.....also on my gauges...i have air vent ones, one on the left of the steering wheel, and one on the right....has anyone installed them? how big of a pain in the *** is it to get the stuff ran through the dash?

andrew i have the install guide for a whipple, and the saleen both..i think on pdf in my email somewhere, i was going to buy the whipple, but found a steal of a deal on the saleen one....so if you have either one of those i can send you the pdf on it.....i have read both of them, i have nothing better to do on my free time in afghan but read ****...and they installs seem pretty straight forward, not too difficult at all actually. common garage tools, plus a tourque wrench...and some different type of cleaners, and glues for the hoses...also some clamp pliers...but let me know if you want the manuels
39lbs injectors are perfect for your current setup. On the gauges there not hard to install just takes time and patience, if you're mechanically incline you shouldn't have a problem. If you decide to use a fuel pressure gauge go with an electronic version vs mechanical. You don't want a introduce fuel into the cabin should something happen. You have a lot of options for gauges and where to install them dash or pillar.
yeah i know a little something something...but you just made a great point about the gauges.....i bought a boost gauge, and a air/fuel ratio gauge. they are both with the needle....so i should be good on not having fuel ran into the cab right? thats the first time i have ever heard anything about that

Most modern gauges are via an electrionic sensor so you don't have to worry in general. It's always good to make sure what you end up buying is exactly what you want. Mechanical gauge are usually pretty cheap. Usually the better gauges are electronic, have wide reading scales and sometimes you can get a warning indicator. AutoMeter has a wide range but there are plenty of other companies out there do your research.
Are you talking about this type of vent gauge?

They do provide some reference but say you have your foot in it and suddenly your mixture goes lean for whatever reason. There probably isn't going to be enough time for to do anything anyway. A solid tune with the proper A/F and a reliable fuel supply system is much more important than any gauge IMO.
