ok new to the site and have a question . a supercharger or nitrous system which would be better to install. and also what about both????
First off, welcome to the site.......
I would do some searching here, there is plenty of info. In my opinion, supercharging is the way to go, whether it be with a centri-style blower or twin screw. It just depends on your goals, and what you want from the car.

Think about it:
"Wait let me get out and go in my trunk and open my nitrous bottle"
or
"wait until my nitorus bottle warms up"
or you can just mash the pedal at any time with a supercharger.

Here is the first thread I started a couple of years back about this topic:

Or you could do as I do, If I am in the mood to possible play around
Put on Seat Belt
Start Car
Open console, turn on bottle heater
Hit remote opener(as long as you have checked your system for leaks)
Plug in power cord.
Press Purge button.
Close Console
Go out for drive
Gee there is someone that wants to race.
Open console arm system.
and go.
I installed mine (total cost of the system approx. 1,100.00) and had it dyno tuned, even with all that I can fill the bottle roughly 100 times or more before I reach the price a TS Blower.
Since my car sits for 4 -5 months the Nitrous made more since for me.

Plus turbo or supercharger can be safer (for the motor) but its mainly about the cost for most.
Super Charger!! Either FRPP Whipple or Kenne Bell. DON'T go Roushchager. I wouldn't have if I knew then what I know now...
Okay well I understand the cost of nitrous is much lower than forced induction so that makes sense if that is the reason someone want to go N2O.
This is 100% correct. There are many risks in running N20 that you dont have with forced induction, ever.
1) nitrous backfire caused by fuel pooling in intake
2) nitrous backfire caused by fuel pooling in the manifold (plastic blows up real easy)
3) any other cause of nitrous backfire
I have had nitrous backfires on my 91 Stang. Good luck with that....

2. More streetable because you aren't blowing off the tires every time you touch the pedal. Much more streetable if you're running very high hp.
3. A properly sized turbo for the stock motor will have zero lag
4. Some of the turbo kits out there (turbohorsepower) are cheaper than the supercharger kits
5. With a boost controller you can change your power level with the push of a button or the turn of a **** while you're driving down the road, no pulley changes.
Or, $6,000+ vs $1,000 ? There is something to be said about the giggle gas. If you are "racing" constantly, yup, get the SC or Turbo.

??? $6000 with no x amount every couple days or $1000 with + x amount every few days to fill the bottle. In the long run the s/c will always be cheaper than bottle. (If you drive anything like me anyway)
