stuffing in bigger engines

i was day dreaming and thought, since the new camaros with their ls engines and dodges with the 6.1 hemis are coming soon.......... whats the biggest **** engine you can stuff in these things. who knows, one day the 281 may have to go. so anyone with anything bigger or heard of anything feel free to speak up............

I'm pretty sure you can fit a 460 in the engine bay. Never saw it done, but boy would that thing have some torque!! Ford offers a 460 crate engine that is bada$$, and not too bad on price either. 7.5L of fun!! Woo hoo!!

Ford also has some bigger crate motors for more $$ if you really are wanting a beast. They are all based on the 460 block and stuff, so it's the same outer dimensions. They go up to 598CID I think (if I remember correctly)

Someone has already put a 460 in a v6 stang. Look it up on youtube "was a 6"

someone sells a mod block that will go to 351 cubes ...it should bolt to most of our accesories also.

Everything right up to a Boss 429 will fit. I'd like to see a V10 version though, punched out to 427, 428 or 429 cubic inches usng a set of ported 3v heads and a spiffy intake patterned after the FR500C car's intake along with some nice cams and CAI. Such an engine would be alot lighter than the GT500 mile and easily within 20 or so horspower if not equaling/surpassing it (not to mention being cheaper to boot).

Oh I also forgot that I was looking through a magazine and theres a company that makes a K-member with engine mounts specificaly for swapping a 351 windsor into the '05-'08 stang.
