I have the same setup and think it's great. We have alot of RR tracks here and you can really tell the difference on the tightness of the front end. mitch e

Did you have to modify the install of the plenum cover like gms shows in there instructions. I would rather not move the bolts from the intake if I dont have too. I know gms says to put them on top of the cover instead of below it but thats not the way it was designed, so if it will fit with out modifying the install of the factory cover the way it was supposed to install then I may get one. So did you have to do anything with your factory cover to make it fit? Or did you just add it right over the factory cover. Also does it rub the hood liner, if so how has that held up for you. Thanks for the info.

I did the granatelli single on mine with the plenum cover. Worked fine and looks great. Very factory which is what I wanted. It looks like it belongs there.

I did need to lower the cover by removing the fuel rail bolts. No biggie. I am a fuss ars when it comes to being correct and I was fine with it. Still looks great.

I noticed a difference in hard cornering. But that is me.

I also did the g-trac early on before the strut bar, it made a bit of difference as well. The bolt heads did rust and were painted with zero-rust paint. Problem solved.

I have the Steeda Single Bar. I love the billet end pieces, which is what led me to that piece (before the Roush came out with theirs, which looks the same). also, IMO it looks better than the double bar pieces. But, I also got it before Steeda increased their price on it

Also, I recently added the engine cover. IT WILL FIT with some modification. I had to notch out the center of the cover to allow the bar to "fit inside" the cover. Here are some pics.

I run the GMS single bar in black. It fits over my Ford OEM plenum cover with room to spare! No hood contact. As far as needing a double bar, its probably over kill Ford just puts a single on the 2007 SVT Cobra 500 !...

how much fordcrazy, and where did you get it from. Does it clear the oem cover? or just the aftermarkets. I spoke with ingalls a while back about these, crazy msrp on there site, but he told me to speak with colorado mustang, which I sent them an email and never got a reply, so was just wondering where did you get yours, and how much did you pay, thanks.

I see they have it here for 219.00

I thought round bar was stiffer than square tube. Aren't all race cars made from round bar?
