Strut Tower Brace improve handling. Y/N

A pretty simple poll here:

Did your STB installed on your 05+ Mustang GT make a difference in handling or not?

My Strange STB did. Car feels much more planted and stable, rides firmer with less flex in the chassis. Not a huge, but a noticeable difference.

I felt a difference in mine right away. And it adds bling or at least some additional interest to the car.

The strange development strut bar I have only weights like 8 pounds or so, I can hold it up with one finger so the weight gain is equal to me bingeing on a few big macs or something.

I have the FRPP STB and to be perfectly honest I didn't notice any difference (handling improvement) after I installed it.

I don't think the weight makes any difference, the bar wasn't that heavy at all. I believe it's more for looks than anything else in this car.

The box my Strange STB came in said 3 pounds. Very lightweight.

And I put it on so quickly I can't tell if it's made much of a difference, but it sure looks good!

It certainly seemed to help my Vert, but it is hard to quantify how much. Only makes sense since the more bracing you have the better. Even Ford and Shelby felt the need to include them on the GT500, the GT-H and the new GT, so they must help some. Oh, and on a side note I discovered that all 2007 Verts (not sure about the coupes) already come with a lower A-Arm brace (courtesy of having the same reinforcements as the GT500) so I am sure that helps as well.

The "shipping" weight on mine was 4lbs. It weighs about half that. I drained my washer fluid to make up the difference. The washer fluid weighed more and was too far forward. The brace is right over the wheels.

I had a Steeda double bar on mine and took the car to a road course. I drove the car with it and without because I wanted to see if there was a difference or not. If you drive twisties in a spirited manner YOU WILL NOTICE A DIFFERENCE!

I have the Granatelli single STB. I think it may have helped a bit, but not a drastic difference. I got mine and the Ford plenum cover it does at least look pretty cool, so it was worth the money.

LOL, that was awesome!

I installed an FRPP STB for a weekend and did a bunch of driving around with and without it, and couldn't tell a bit of difference. This is driving on the street, normal driving. Autocrossing and the like, sure I could see it making a difference. But normal driving, nothing in my book.

Strange development STB here. I think it comes in at 2.6 lbs, according to the website. I know the first time I picked it up I couldn't believe how light it was.

For daily driving, honestly I didn't notice any difference. Now there are a few fast corners I can take on the way home from work each day and when I push it, there was a noticeable difference, but for day to day driving in the city, no difference IMO.
