I just got the Tokico D-Spec shocks and struts with the Eibach pro kit and the shop that installed it for me said that if I got a Strut Tower brace it would make handling better, especially around curves. Is this true? Or is he just trying to sell me something?

The brace improves handling. Bottom line, the heavier the cornering, the greater the flex/deflection in the strut towers. The brace strengthens them, stiffening the chassis and improving cornering performance, because it shares/transfers the load with the other strut tower. In the '05, this will help address the cars infamous understeer and at the same time should give better tire wear. Long-term, it will help alleviate metal fatigue in the strut towers.
