I don't have any actual experience in these matters, but the Saleen would seem to be the way to go. It's a smaller boost, but hopefully should be more reliable. There are guys over in the GT Perf forums that talk about this stuff all the time, so check over there

What do you have against this system?

You're a fortunate canine to get permission from your wife! Congrats on getting past that hurdle. IF I had to choose, I'd be in the KB or Whipple group also. I'll be going for mild instant boost without having the need to rebuild the bottom of the engine.
Or maybe I've already done this.....

I would consider the Whipple through FRPP for warranty reasons. But I don't think we'll see it for a while. Here's a letter from Mr. Whipple. Looks like Ford wasn't lying when they said they changed supercharger manufacturer for the SHELBY GT500 because original manufacturer couldn't promise them enough.

Roushcharger is very overpriced for what you get IMO. Almost 6000, for what? Better off with the Saleen or the KB if you want one now.

Okay, so the packing is "top notch" and the design ( with all those pretty bends in the intake ) is thoroughly engineered. With the Saleen right at 5000, what makes the Roush worth the extra 700 in the world of twin screws
And, with all that engineering, you think they would have figured out a way to make it fit the automatic...

It's also not even a twin-screw like the Saleen, so I would say the Saleen uses a superior compressor, and it may even be larger than the Roush Eaton MP90. The Saleen probably has more potential down the road for increased power as well, but I still like the Roush design best.
Certifying it for use in an automatic cost extra, so I suppose this may come later. No worries, as I have a manual.
