Strange Strut Tower Brace update

Well, I like the new bar but I need to warn you all that the Strange Strut Brace does rub on the hood insulation. I noticed it last night while detailing the engine bay. I'll get a picture posted soon to show where it rubs.

The damage to the hood liner is already done so I won't be removing or replacing the bar. I'll live with the rub marks for the handling improvements.

I noticed that also. I too will sacrifice a few indentions in the liner for the better handling.

What are those holes in the square section of your hood liner?

I think they're for the bolts that hold on the new hoodscoop. At least that's how I remember the bolts on the scoop being arranged. There's a pic on here somewhere.

I just took my insulation out, no rubbing on the hood or the plenum cover.

I'll be putting mine on over the MAG plenum cover this weekend, we'll see how if fits.

I'll post pics, of course.
