Well, I have an update. I got my car back today with new ebrake cables. The brakes seem to be ok, no dragging or burning. I still have the hissing coming from the rear end though. I have 4.10s and moser axles installed but if the 4.10s were bad I would expect more of a whine or a groan, not a hiss with a little high pitch tone with it. Maybe a bearing? Any ideas will be helpful.
The brakes seem to be good though. They feel good and firm but I still have room to play with brake modulation. I can't wait until it gets warmer so I can really test them out.
Oh, and while I was waiting for parts my mechanic installed some hood pins for me. I now need to get some stripes. What do you think, white or silver?
