Stock Plugs

I have bought HT1 spark plugs that need to be installed. I notice that the usual spark plug removal socket is too big. Does anyone know what size socket or if its a special socket, so i can remove my stock plugs so i can put in the HT1 plugs

Did you buy 16mm or 12mm plugs? Ford changed the plugs halfway through the 2008 model year, so 2005-2008.5's take one size while the 2008.5-2010's take the other.
