Hi all,

I've done a few searches on the forum here but haven't been able to find the answer. What are the 0-60 mph and 1/4 mile times for a stock manual GT?

Thanks,

Richard

There was a post somewhere around here from a guy whose father had taken an 05 six cylinder to the track and ran a couple of 15.2's.

Nice times. I'm sure you'll knock another tick or two off next time out too

Black Magic-

You had 70 miles on your car. THat's ridiculous. I understand that you don't need to break in new cars as much as old ones, but that's not the best thing to do in my opinion.

Mines starting to "loosen up" now at 1400 miles. I waited til over 1000 to "run her hard" and before my first tune. Just wanted us to become better acquainted before doing battle with her!

Now guys. I thought the manual said don't break it in at the same RPM. I was trying to do the right thing(lol). :bang: Besides, it's under warranty. It now has 1100 miles and ready for round 2. Stay tuned. Merry Christmas.

You are correct don't break it in at same RPM. But that doesn't mean drag race at first. It probably doesn't matter anyway and won't to any harm.

Keep us posted.

Motortrend got a 05 GT 5-speed manual to do 0-60 in 5.1sec and 1/4 mile in 13.5sec.

We've have a timeslip from a guy who did 13.35sec in the quarter.

Thanks Dan,

I looked through that magazine last night and missed the performance data page on page 63. I updated my original post with the MotorTrend info.
