Stock Drive Shaft
I am wondering if anyone had issues with the stock 2 piece drive shaft after lowering your Mustang. I have had drivetrain issues since I installed my Eibach Pro spring kit.

To be honest no not at first. After reading some other threads I install a Steeda UCA and adjusted it then took it to a local performance shop and had them double check it and confirm it's at -3 degrees. I just don't know what to do next. I want to fix it but i don't want to start throwing more parts and money at it just guessing. With all the great members here that mod just about everything i think we can come up with a solution.

other then the Springs, Steda UCA, 4.10 Gear and Hurst Shifter it's stock. after installing the springs as soon as I left the driveway I noticed the shifter has a clunking sound like something is hitting the linkage. I can feel it when I hit bumps in the road or if sitting on a hill and letting it roll backwards a few feet and hitting the breaks.

Well if you've already made sure the shifter is all tight than it could be very possible that it's just the driveshaft. The stock two piece driveshaft is very loud and noisy. My thoughts.

I think Steeda Gus was just talking about this in another thread. I know my driveshaft became much clunkier after installing aftermarket LCA's. I think Gus mentioned how we have taken the sloppiness or play by removing the stock rubber bushings on our cars and the driveshaft gets a noticeable clunk afterwards. Mine does it too. For me the solution will be a one piece driveshaft in the hopefully near future.

After talking to many people I come to the conclusion that I possible may have left something loose I am going to jack it back up and go through the whole thing and make sure everything is tight. If I find something loose I'll post with result (boy won't I feel STUPID).
