Just ordered from Mustang Tuning - should arrive for next weekend. Could someone please post or email me the installation instructions. I have a harmonic balancer puller. What is the recommended procedure for installing the new harmonic balancer?

If they are Steeda Pulleys the Instructions are included. Not a big job but it is a lot easyer if you take the Elc. Fan out (Two Bolts hold it in)

Tim I see you are from Florda as well. Have you had any cooling system, A/C system or power steering issues due to the pulleys?

No Problems at all, I went on a 1600 mile round trip to Tennessee a week ago everything was Fine. These pulleys wake up the car a great deal in the mid range. By the way The Stang got 25 MPG on the highway

The mileage is good to hear. I'll be picking my mustang up in Iowa in 11 days ( I can hardly wait!) but won't have the pulley's put on just yet. I do have a 2000 mile drive back home to Seattle though. That's gonna be -

day 1) drive really fast to get past the plains
day 2) drive all over the mountains enjoying the cars handling and power
day 3) finish the drive to Seattle for a good rub down (Zaino treatment)

The harmonic balancer on my GT didn't have any treaded holes in it to attach a harmonic balancer remover to it with. Finally bought a three jaw reversible puller from Sears to get it off. The OEM balancer has three "tabs" close to the center of the balancer that I had to put my puller lips behind...it was tight enough getting the puller in place that I had to remove one of the puller arms from the puller and re-install it after placeing it behind it's corresponding "tab". Couldn't get it to go into place otherwise. Other than that it was pretty straightforward.

The UDP's make a noticeable difference? I am on the fence whether this is a worthwile mod to spend money on.

You guys get good gas mileage. My computer reads 16.8. It's off about 1.2 mpg when you do the math.

For those of you that haven't installed Steeda Underdrive Pulleys yet, I just finished my installation without a lift or jacking up the vehicle. Took about 2 hours with hand tools. Only air tool used was to tighten the harmonic balancer the additional 90 degrees as I have an automatic transmission. Harmonic balancer is not threaded. Requires a good 3-jaw puller to remove. As someone else suggested the fan needs to be removed to gain access to remove the harmonic balancer.

Does this require a different serpentine belt? If so, does the kit come with one, or do you have the part number of the right one?
