Steeda Ultralites vs Steeda Sport Springs
Steeda Ultralites vs Steeda Sport Springs
What is the overall difference between the two spring sets?
Is there a benefit of coughing up the extra $30 for the sport springs?
Can anyone give me their input on the springs?

The sport springs have a small increase in the spring rate for the front springs (ie. stiffer). The ultralites use a lighter weight wire for the spring which results in less unsprung weight. Both springs should drop the car the same amount. The ultralites should have a more gentle ride than the sport springs.
I have a set of ultralite springs sitting next to me right now. But I haven't ridden in a car with any of the Steeda springs.

The difference in the spring rate between the two springs is 5 lbs from what I read in a post by a Steeda employee. ren274u may have hit the nail on the head regarding the real difference between the springs because otherwise they seem pretty darn similar.
from my understanding, the sports handle better than the ultra-lites, but not as good a ride quality.
i got the ultra-lites and overall i am very happy with them.
i would say that the ultra-lites are more than up to the task of spirited every day driving.

so just for fun driving on the highway with the whipple blower, 1/4 mile launching and never visiting a autocross/road course, whats better to get, the ultralites or the sport springs?
