Steeda UD pulley install

Me and a buddy will be installing the pulleys this weekend and I was wondering about how much time to expect for the install. Thanks

Hey Adaaam,
I installed my Steeda pullies in about 11/2- 2 hours. If you have the proper tools on hand it is a breeze. I got the proper puller set from Autozone.

Scoot!

I did my automatic GT in my drive way by myself in about 1.5 hours. It takes as long to get the fan shroud out as it does to do most of the install. (LOL) The puller is what is often reffered to as a Chrysler puller, I don't know why because it works perfectly on these Fords. I have a Lisle puller set and it had the stuff I needed.

Make sure you replace the crank bolt with a new one. Once the bolt has been used it is "stretched" and should not be used again on the crank. The FORD part number for the bolt is F5RZ-6A34Q-B.

Good luck! Install isn't that bad. Be careful when threading in the new crank bolt, you do not want to cross thread it.

Here's what the puller should look like. The one top left is correct.

I think it was called the Chrysler puller. Hell.. I don't know it was in the box with about 100 other pieces but it worked!

LOL, in a thread awhile back I mispelled Scott and wrote Scoot... Scott poked fun at me for that so now Scoot remains
