Steeda Throttle Body Spacer... thoughts?

So I got an email that this thing:
https://www.steeda.com/gt-mustang-th...-555-3106.html
...is on sale for about $110. Claims to make more HP and more MPG. Even a review says it works to the tune of about a 4 MPG boost. Apparently it's due to the extra volume not making the engine work as hard, and/or the swirly bits on the bores that helps to cause air turbulence which helps something... IDK, whatever, to be honest. I did a quick lookin' about and the TBI or carb setup would benefit from the swirlies but the MPIs apparently don't...?

So... yeah. Thinkin' about gettin' one, but I'd like the herd's opinion/experience on the thing. I mean, MPG is MPG, right? And if it means a little extra ability to smooth out my tires easier, well, great! But it sill kinda sounds a like snake oil, and Awesome's not a Cobra.

Thanks in advance!

Don't know from personal experience, but posts I've read from other Mustang forums claim those throttle body spacers are nothing more than just snake oil that do very little for HP/MPG boost..
I suppose if Steeda would be willing to accept a return if the spacer doesn't function for your particular application as advertised? then I'd give it try..If not, then I wouldn't risk spending $110.00 on a product that you can't return once it's been installed. Perhaps give a Steeda a phone call and find out if they would accept a return before making a purchase just for your own piece of mind

Oh, don't worry, I ain't buyin' nothin' unless it gets a seal of approval from 'round these parts or research proves it out. The second is not happening due to lack of good information. Hence the question 'round these parts.

And no, Steeda guy, you don't count, sorry. Conflict of interest and all that, you understand, right? Right.

Prior to upgrading to forced induction, I had considered looking into those TB spacers. I only located 3 manufacturers that produce them.. Steeda, BBK and Airaid.. Needless to say, I could never locate a single unbiased source to provide any type of positive information about these spacers one way or the other.. Also, after reading several negative posts on other Mustang forums was all it took in making a final decision.. LOL

I find it very hard to believe that thing could actually do much . . . but I'd look at it like all the other mods: I might do it just for fun, but at the same time "don't expect much, and you won't be disappointed"
