where did you see steeda has a t/b spacer? i just found it! a buddy of mine made one for his sport-trac that has same motor in it. he said it felt like the torq and hp came on sooner, not so much as he had more. that's all i know, hope it helps

And at least the CMCV delete plates won't cause misalignment of just about everything. I would skip the spacer. Oh, and the stock TB is the best you can get IMO, so leave it be also.

I put on an MMR on mine the other day, I really can't notice too much of a difference right now. I also installed the Steeda shifter at the same time, so I definitely can't tell.
It looks good though, and it may have gained power (and I just can't feel it), and it was only $50. Plus it only took less than 30 minutes to put on. And it will also work with any aftermarket or OEM intake (no clearance problems), and any aftermarket or OEM throttle body.
Keep in mind that if you go with charge-motion control valve delete plates, you will HAVE to get a programmer with a tune for it. So even though they're only $85, you have to figure in the $400 price for a programmer so that you can even install them and drive your car.

For around the same amount (maybe just a couple of bucks more) ? your best bang for the buck would be the FRPP delete plates

Probably 8 ft-lb and 8 hp, just like their inlet tube
I agree that the CMCV deletes look like they will give you the most bang for the buck. Don't mess with the throttle body on the S197 GT.

Let's get something straight once and for all ? I didn't purchase the inlet tube because of Steeda's 8hp claim..I purchased it because of the stock inlet tube being an airflow restriction just as the stock airbox has also been proven time and time again as being a restriction.. personally I wouldn't care if there were only a 2HP increase ? the point is airflow is no longer being choked off from reaching the TB and intake manifold.. it's like the saying goes ? more air = more power, enough said. However I do agree with you on the TB spacer ? there a total waste of money IMO

aftermarket throttle bodies and spacers have been proven to be a waste of money than can be spent on an intake and tuner or delete plates, even Kenne Bell says a spacer is a waste of money

plus the factory throttle body has been proven to work on SC and NA cars, in any HP range and hold up, the only thing that would be better is a single blade but the factory manifold does not allow it because it is designed for a dual blade
