Steeda pullies question
Steeda pullies question
Over the weekend my harmonic balancer let go by separating. I couldn't find an OE replacement and I didn't want a used one so I ordered the steeda pullies from AM. My question is will I need anything else? Different belt? Will I have charging problems? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Relax....you did good. You will not have charging problems or air conditioning problems. I have been running them since 2005 on my car. If you ordered the kit like you said you will get a new smaller harmonic balancer and a new pulley for the altenator that is slighter larger than stock. If you use both you will not need a new belt. If you do not use the larger pulley for the altenator you will need a 1 inch shorter belt then stock. Just that easy.

I've had mine for over 6 years and have never encountered any cooling or charging issues either.. In fact i haven't noticed any differences even when running the A/C
All I can say is WOW. Definitely impressed. Made a way bigger difference than I anticipated. The car runs a lot smoother. Throttle is more responsive. Rev matching is way smoother. 5/5. Awesome.
