The newest Tri-Ax Shifter from Steeda Autosports is designed expressly for the 2005 Ford Mustang, with a style that is reminiscent of the venerable "Top Loader". Yet by incorporating 20 years of race-proven technology, and by utilizing modern materials and machining techniques, this cog-swapper is right on the cutting edge!

Thousands of Tri-Ax shifters already installed in Mustangs share some of their features, like an extremely short throw, precise action and stop-bolts to prevent damage to the transmission and linkage under hard usage. The factory steel mounting rail is replaced with a substantial billet beam for more positive location; and upgraded bushings are supplied to further reduce deflection under hard shifting. Base, handle and beam are all CNC machined by Steeda from 6061 Aluminum.

Item: Steeda Tri-Ax ® Shifter
Application: 2005 Mustang
Steeda P/N: 555-7305
MSRP: $249.95

If they awarded 'style points' for suspension parts like they do for some Olympic sports, we think that all of the judges would give our new Billet Lower Trailing Arm for the '05 Mustang a '10' - even that curmudgeon from Outer Nerdbekistan. But don't be fooled by their obvious beauty, these babies do the job their designed for, whether your Mustang sees duty at the track, or on the street.
Shown above in street configuration, with the optional urethane bushings & sleeves, these CNC machined components will greatly enhance the performance of your Mustang when compared to the stamped steel OE parts they replace. For more demanding drivers and conditions, the arms will also accept spherical rod ends for even greater control.

These represent the top of the Steeda Autosports line, precisely machined from billet aluminum. A simple-yet-stout, tubular chrome-moly replacement for the OE parts are available too, again with options for urethane bushings or rod ends, to suit any driving style.

By working closely with Ford Motor Company though the SEMA Technology Transfer program, Steeda not only can provide sophisticated parts that improve upon the OE design and are guaranteed to fit right, but also can make them available to the public before some Ford dealers have even had a chance to roll their first '05 into their showroom.

In your quest for the gold at the track or on the street, these silver billet beauties might be just the edge you need. See you on the podium!

Why would the leading manufacturer of Ford high-performance parts render an otherwise simple, straight forward item like a strut tower brace into a work of art? Perhaps the answer echoes the punch line from a rude, old joke - "Because they can!"

In fact, Steeda Autosports does offer a simple, straight forward strut tower brace (P/N: 555-5715) for the '05. It was designed for simple installation and no interference with items under hood. And, by tying the strut towers together, it enhances handling by increasing chassis stiffness. But why stop there?

Why not have the in-house CAD team design an attractive cover for the strut towers - and have them include the stylish logo that reminds one of the open road ahead? How about firing up the CNC machines, and whittling these pieces out of solid chunks of billet aluminum? In the pursuit of chassis tuning perfection, could you include spherical rod ends on the stout chrome-moly bar, allowing for adjustment to the 'Nth' degree?

Well you can if you're Steeda, so we did - and the results are jaw-dropping! When you pop the hood open on an '05 Mustang with this piece spanning the brawny 4.6L 3v motor, you'll know that when faced with a decision between high-performance and great style, the driver chose "both". And again, Steeda delivers - because we can!
