Looks great Zero..They just finished upgrading mine last night to the aftercooled kit.Took a bit of time to get the correct tune loaded in from the original standard vortech kit that I had to the upgraded H.O. system.Car was very finiky initially so messed around with the TPS a little bit and it is rockin' now. I will post a standard pic and the upgraded pic later this evening.

5.0 mag just did an install of the vortech they didn't like the upgraded fuel pump they just used the stock with a boost a pump addition. Check out their install. Also they liked the SCT tuner instead of the supplied Diablo.

I've got the mag. I knew about the SCT but didn't notice about the fuel pump. Probably going to stick with the predator tune until next spring. Winter coming up soon and probably won't be driving the Mustang that much anyways.

Well got the new fuel pump in the housing. Lost one of the darn screws for the bottom in the process though. :bang: Wasn't too difficult to swap. I'll post a pic later.

New fuel pump! Wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Just a bit of filing to get the pump to fit in the housing.

Chris, (subzero05)

Is this whole in your reservoir? Think it should be closed but don't see anything in the instructions about it.

Here's the pic.

There should be two open holes only. One on the very bottom, and driver side. The hole in posted picture, should be tapped but not completely open. If it is just put a plug in it. that should get you on the road.

TK421,

Did you do a Vortech install yourself? Asking because you seem fairly knowledgable and in case I have any more questions I know who I can ask.

Looks like a heck of an install. Just curious, though, why has it taken so long? Are you working on it alone? We managed to get my Procharger installed in about a day and a half during a weekend with 3 of us working on it. Well 2 and 1 running checklist and chasing any parts we needed.

I am just wondering if it's the kit that is a pain or what. I'm not a fan of the Vortech superchargers really, but if the power numbers are right, that might change my opinion. When will it be dyno'd?

Kris

1. It's just me
2. Waiting on the proper injectors
3. I've never done anything like this before
4. I'm not in that big a hurry because of #3

Just a spare plug my friend had laying around. Fit perfectly. Why?

Fuel injectors came in today. So finally got them in. Also got the fuel pump in finally. So can get everything else finished up this week and my friend's coming over this weekend to help with the oil drain assy. Hope to have her running again by Sunday.
