Brave, no. Insane, yes. But it's been fun so far. And I've learned quite a bit.

Was hoping to have it finished by Sunday. But don't think it's going to happen. The intercooled part is going to take me longer than I thought. Plus my cat woke me up at half 3 this morning and I couldn't fall back asleep. So been really taking my time today.
Here's a pic of the water cooler.

Well don't get down. Keep it up and you'll be done before you know it. Besides you and I both know it'll all be well worth it.

Trust me I'm not down. Learning alot from this. And I wouldn't even be trying to install it, if I didn't have a friend that was good with this stuff, helping me out when needed.

I think the best thing about doing it yourself is that if something goes wrong, you don't get socked in the mouth with labor charges to fix it. Especially since not every mechanic knows about servicing a vortech blower.
Good job! Got me thinking about doing it myself, but the most i've done so far is cat back and c&l intake by myself.. that was so easy i dont want to get false confidence that I can do a blower haha! If I could, best believe I would have one on by now hehe

No, not a tuner kit. Talked to a rep at Vortech and they said there the proper injectors.
I thought they were supposed to be 39# injectors as well. Aftercooled kit gets upgraded injectors maybe?

who was it at Vortech that you spoke to about the injectors?.Mine are the Blue 39# ones that came with the kit and I too was told they use those same ones for the aftercooled kit?..i am curious now because I am upgrading to the H.O kit next week and was told the same injectors in the standard kit are used in the H.O and not 42# ones...

It was an email. I got a reply back from Chris Matye. Here's a copy of the email.
Was curious about this as well because the injectors supplied don't match my inventory sheet. But reply led me think they were good to go. Now I'm wondering otherwise again.

These are the correct injectors.

Subject: Fuel Injectors
Recently purchased a Vortech supercharger with
aftercooler. The part number for the injectors are
different than on the inventory list. The fuel
injectors I received are Ford Racing Performance
Parts.
Part# M-3593-F302, there 42# injectors. Will these
still work?
Thanks,
Kyle
