SSBC 13" Brakes behind 18" Bullitt's?

I had a question for some of you. Does anyone here have the SSBC 13" 3 piston brake kit in their car? If they do is it a system that performs much better than stock? I have a 2008 Bullitt with stock rims and dont want to change my wheels. Also does anyone know if they will fit behind factory 18" Bullitt's? I heard mose brake systems will not work on this wheel and I dont want to change wheels.

Are you looking for better single stop or regular street driving stopping? Pads and possibly rotors are your best bet in that case.

If you're looking for fade resistance, pads can help quite a bit as well, but the larger mass of the 13" rotor and bigger caliper of the SSBC setup should help things out. It's also 3 pistons instead of the stock 1, so theoretically should improve pad wear and pressure distribution on the pad, assuming the pad is larger than stock (I would think so).
You might want to look into what size/type of pad they use, they're often old Corvette or Porsche shapes/sizes adapted to the manufacturers caliper, and the caliper is usually designed for each particular car. But if the pad is an oddball, might be more pricey or limited selection in pad manufacturer.

From what I know the SSBC three piston 13" system will fit the stock 18" Mustang wheels.

I thought that 05-09 GT's have two piston front calipers? Anyways SSBC says they wont fit a 18" bullitt rim where americanmuscle says they will. I will like to see if anyone has actually done it. I know better pads and rotors help stopping. But I would like something much better.

Sorry, the fronts are two piston, on one side (inboard). Wasn't thinking right. Is the SSBC all three on the inboard side? That'd make the most sense...

I'd tend to believe the maker, unless someone shows you a pic otherwise. They might just require a bit of a spacer.

Can always print out the fitment diagram and see how it goes in...

My understanding is you cut along the front rotor surface (the left facing arrowhead across from the '1.80' label, with the 45 degree angle slash line pattern) and put that on the inner face of the wheel (with it off the car, of course).

If you've followed the cut line exactly it will show if it hits the spokes or the inner wheel surface.
