Spark plug- Thread size

Can anybody tell me the thread size on our spark plugs??? Metric, S.A.E., fine thread????

No Boo Boo just trying to make my own Spark plug gapper out of spare parts here at work. Figure I could make my own instead of borrowing Tom281's all the time.

Well I guess I can answer my own questions now. I when to the local Hardware store and search the bins to find out that the thread size is................................................ .........

They are not a pipe thread. I don't know the size, but I know they are not a pipe thread.

I have to agree on this...They are definitely NOT a 3/8 pipe thread!!! They are metric something like 16mm X 1.25 thread. I am not for sure but I can find out and I am sure they are not a pipe thread of any kind !!!!

Well a 3/8 pipe thread connector holds the Spark plug just fine. I was fooling around yesterday and made a rough Spark Plug Gapper. It works just fine. Regapper the old HT1 to .035 after putting in the new HT0.
