Question Spark Plug help

Ok....Im trying to change out the plugs on the Mrs 05 GT.

On the pass side I got two out whole. One is broken off and 1
spark plug spins but wont come out at all.

On the drivers side I got one whole one out, one is broken off and two
of the plugs spin but will not come out at all.

I tried a pair of needle nose pliers and the plug wont budge.

If I cant get the top out, I cant use the Lisle puller to get the rest.

Ideas???

I sooooo soaked these bad boys for a day and have been praying for months.
aarrrgggggggggg

I even had the foot pounds set to 30 and not a click.....

arrrggg is right! That's the worst I've read!

When you say the top is broken do you mean the porcelin? Can you still get a socket on the nut portion?
All I can think of is more soaking. Maybe now after you've jarred them a bit more will seep in. But unless you can grip the nut portion of the plug,

btw, how many miles?

47k....the plug spins...its at the end...it just wont come out.
Im pretty sure its broken but hasnt released the lower half....

Gonna try a bit more with a needle nose. Dang its killing my back!

I guess Ill use the Lisle to get the broken ones that I was able to remove the top half of, out.

Danggggit

I believe there's a kit (too far back in the memory banks) to remove stubborn studs that is like a reverse thread tap. You drill, tap, then insert the reverse thread small bolt and as you tighten it backs out the stud.
Could that work? Is there anything left to grab that way? I know you're worried about filings so you wouldn't want to drill all the way through...

That's pretty low miles for them to be that stuck. Sounds like a lot of city driving that let carbon build up really bad.

Ok...I made a down payment on my MANCARD and pulled that SOB out.
Of course it was already broken but the needle nose pliers did it.

to recap -

I got it done. There was one the Lisle tool was not biting into and I couldnt extract it.
I tried about 7 times. I actually got on my knees and asked God for help....while
thinking my wife would kill me if I had to pull the head off the engine.

Low and behold the next attempt it bit and I worked at slow motion extracting it.

Got em all out. Broke 5 of 8. Extracted 5. Put in the new plugs. Burned off the PB Blaster and the engine sounds ready to pounce!

I cleaned up a bit and reinstalled the shaker.

Wow 5 had to suck. I had 2 clean breaks and one I had to use needle noses on. Thank god for the Lisle kit!!!
Its been about 10k miles since I did mine, went out last week to see if they would back out easily. All the passenger side ones did just fine, all the drivers side ones wouldn't budge and I didn't want to try to hard and break them.

I used this stuff:

It came in an 18' roll so I started at the back and worked my way around it.

If you have a cell phone bar code reader this will help you find it:
