Something is wrong

Shouldn't I be trapping a higher MPH with the mods I have. Left is bone stock. Right is with the mods in my signature. I expected at least a 103 or 104 mph.

Need more info on your car and you probably need more seat time. What rpm are you launching from and shifting out at?
What gears are you running? Get to the top of 4th gear at the traps. May require shifting out of another gear sooner.

It's a 5spd. Launching at about 3k. Shifting at 6k, maybe a little over 6k. Running through the traps in the top of 3rd. 3:55 gears. 27" tall drag radials

Top of 3rd won't get your mph up any. Top of 3rd is probably only 101mpg. 3.73 or 4.11 and 4th gear might help a bit.

So, are you saying don't hold it in third and short shift to fourth?

I don't know when your car is making peak power. I would try shifting out a little earlier and trying some of 4th. You may not be able to with the 3.55's. A shorter gear would probably help you out some. A lot more trying different things and seat time will do wonders also.

That's odd. They are in my signature. Here you go:

Steeda CAI, Economy CMDPs, Steeda underdrive pulleys, Steeda 93 octane tune, GT500 wheels, GT500 Brembo brake kit, KYB GR2 shocks and struts, J&M Rear LCAs, J&M Rear UCA.

That's a pretty good time considering you're running only a couple bolt ons. Was that at Orlando Speedworld?

Thanks Muscledom. This was at Atlanta Dragway in Commerce, GA. I'm disappointed the car didn't have a higher mph. You read all of these articles in the magazines and all of the time slips posted here and cars with similar mods are trapping 104 to 106 mph. I'm a far away from that. Makes me wonder if there is something wrong with the car. I'll have to get it dyno'ed to see what's really going on.

Don't feel bad man. I have a CAI, CMDPs, cams, LTs, o/r h, flows, and 410s and the best time I've made is a 13.27@109. That's with 329rwhp. Which was also disappointing lol. I'm getting similar 60s to you too. Hopefully ill be going back on the 20th. This time with UDPs and more experience with drag radials.

13.1 @105mph. 60' 1.9

Mods
410 gears
off road x pipe
Jlt 3 intake
Brenspeed 93 tune
Micky Thompson ET Streets

Maybe the tall drag radial and 3.55s are hurting you, I run 26" drags

Your mph may be down if you're running the drag radials at abnormally low pressures.
Also, you can try shifting to 4th, but I'm thinking finishing at the top of 3rd is more advantageous because a 3-4 shift will cause the car to lose momentum.

This was my first time out with the drag radials. I started at 28 psi, then 25, and ended up at 22. They are NT05r drag radials. Is that too low?

22 psi is not too low. If your trap speed was the same at higher pressures, then suggest keeping it at 22 psi if that's giving you the lowest 60' time.
Increasing your rpm limit to 6800 rpm, and shifting at 6500 rpm may increase trap speed.
