I pay for pretty much everything in cash. I don't like, and rarely using credit cards. I figure, if I can't pay cash for it, I don't need it -- wish I could do that with bigger expenses, ie car ( i will in the future ) and a house. Needless to say, I'll wait a few months and take the plunge properly.

Credit cards were invented to make banks a killing and put fools in deep s--t for a very long time. I would not do the transfer myself but then all my holdings are in Real Estate and I would not sell a single property for a car.

Chill out, this is about buying a supercharger, not being sensible lol.

To be serious for a minute, I personnally can't justify the expense of a supercharger, atleast not while their still relatively new for these cars. It depends on what you want to do with the car; IMO you don't need a s/c for daily driving by anymeans, although it could make commuting much more enjoyable. Everyone knows their own finances; if they have the money to spend or the ability to payoff the card quickly and have justified the expense for what they're planning to do with the car, then do it. Otherwise, think twice about it.

You've got too much self control! Ok.....I suppose that was the right decision.
Errr. well I did buy myself a consolation prize. Secondary nitrous controller and a nice leather jacket to match my car. LoL.

I keep telling myself I'm waiting for the Whipple. When it comes out 15 years from now and all, it doesn't make me feel as bad.

I know how you feel. I ordered mine on Nov 18th and it showed up at the dealer on Dec 28 or so... My dealere was closed that week so I am out the $$$ and I have not even seen it yet......

Hopfully the install will be done soon....

As for the purchase, I would save my money until you can get the Kenny Bell kit. I think it is a better kit...

P.S. I put it on plastic and sent in a payment well "AHEAD" of time to avoid the interest... And of course the check was lost and now I have the interest and a penality to deal with. I called the credit card company and they said wait until the 5th. If it has not been found and I do an electronic transfer and they will back out the charges....

Of course I will still have to put a stop payment on the check and that is another $35.00. This is the first time a payment has been lost.... Just my luck....

I've got my finger on the preverbial button to buy a Saleen SC while it is still cheaper, and, I really can't affoard it >=/ I can pay half of it, but the rest would go on Mr.EvilPlasticBankCard. Stop me!
You should calculate how much the interest would cost vs. how much the price will be raised by the time you could pay in full. that should help your descision making.

Or do like Boston and don't look back

LOL The whipple is going to be like Duke Nukem Forever, if anyone knows what I am talking about.

edit: "Duke Nukem Forever (DNF) is a yet-to-be-released first-person shooter video game being developed by 3D Realms, and is the next game in the popular Duke Nukem series. It is notorious for its protracted development, which has been ongoing since 1997."
