I just got my JLT/SCT2 combo from JLT. I haven't installed it yet (still have a full tank of 87octane and may take it in to the dealer for a few minor issues), but I give two big thumbs up for the kit.

In addition to the intake (with a huge filter), the kit comes with a black plastic heat shield and a little section of corrugated black pipe to act as an insulator against the radiator hose. These were bonus items that I didn't know came with the setup. Woohoo! Did I mention that the filter is MASSIVE!

The fit and finish is excellent, and the new aluminum ring support on the filter end of the intake is very nicely designed. Best thing was that it arrived a day after it shipped! I can't wait to install it (probably next week), but for now, here are some bananas for Jay at JLT!

No, he didnt get sick of any naysayers but Im sure he was hanging around during the initial release of the intake and for the issues that came about for a reason. He was just supporting his product.

Probably! He pops in every now and then. He's got a business to run. The less time he spends here, the more time he has for real work

Plus . . . don't neglect :nono: all those months of entertainment we had from all of the discussions and controversy that ensued about the product, the performance benefits, the performance problems, the competition, the service, the tuners, the dyno sheets, the company, the man, the successes, the failures, the near death experiences, the name calling, the accusations, the drama, the fraudulent claims by scamming customers . . .

OH MAN . . . WHAT A RIDE !!!!!!!

I'd give anything for another round of that kind of stuff! :worship:

Funny post

I'm still here guys, just a tad less that before.
I was able to get the product out there to you all and monitor some problems.
All have been taken car of ASAP and here we are several months and a couple hundred happy customers later.

All forums are a like in two ways. There will always be trouble makers who like to push buttons. (my buttons can be a tad easy to get to )
And there are those who are true and understanding. Those are you guys here (you know who you are).

I can't thank you guys enough for your support here and the other forums you push JLT on. :worship:

It was heated there for a while wasn't it??

Thanks for the support,

Jay

I love my JLT CAI!

Just remember not to bake it in the oven if you don't want it to melt and then try and blame Jay.
