A normal 40-minute 22-mile drive home took 10 hours last night due to .375 inches of snow - that froze on contact. The school system had 3,000 overnight guests that went home this morning (students - all grades).
Anyway, with my car in first (it's an auto tranny) it dealt with the ice just as well as FWD cars - Hondas, etc. Use just under 2 gallons of gas - and even shut it down when stopped.

yep, the 05 mustang is a proven performer even during the winter months. I have no fears of driving my GT in the winter, only thing I hate about it is keeping it clean. I've had it out driving in the snow quite a bit, and other then worrying about someone else sliding into it, haven't been worried yet.
