Well I recieved my SLP LM's on Tuesday, I ordered them from Brenspeed. I must say, the packing job was top notch, the tips and everything was completely cushioned and unable to move around. All was in perfect condition. I sat on my hands for 3 days until this afternoon when I drove my car to a friend's house so we could do the install. We took out the stock mufflers with great ease, that was a cinch. My friend had to leave for an hour so we listened to the car without mufflers and drove it for a little bit. It sounded great. After my friend came back we tried to hook up the exhaust but couldn't get it to fit right. About an hour later we figured out we had the hanger brackets wrong. After we fixed that we got that taken care of the system fit like a glove and was in within 10 minutes, not counting the time it took to get them placed just right. We fired her up and she sounded SOOOO nice. I couldn't believe it, it was better than I expected. I've heard that there is a resonator within the SLP LM's, I looked and there isn't any resonator in there, it's straight through. The sound is amazingly mean and loud. It's soooo awesome. It's not to loud until you put your foot in it, the idle is nice and loud though. I couldn't stop smiling for the better part of 2 hours. After my friend with a black GT, with flowmaster mufflers, heard my exhaust he was blown away he's a newly converted SLP LM fan. He's now selling his flows for a set of SLP LM's. Tunnels are now my best friend.

The way my Dad described the sound is that it sounds like our boat which has a chevy 454 in it. The Loudmouths are awesome, I can't explain in words how happy I am. Videos really do them no justice.

Jonathan,

Sounds great! I have been looking for a exaust that will make my GT sound mean, looks like the SLP LM's do the trick. How much$ and where is a good place to order them from? Oh, did you have to do anything to the programming?

I got mine from brenspeed, I haven't dealt with other online stores but they did a good job packing everything and keeping me informed about my order. They were $315 with free shipping. No programming is neccesary.

I hate you for making that thread, it makes me feel like my car is quiet now and I'm fighting myself to not buy that h-pipe :bang:

I get a little drone doing 70 in the car in fifth. Just moving a few MPH up or down gets rid of it. I think it's the 1800 to 2100 RPM range.

I want your SLPs, for the right price. Do you still have them, and if so, how much shipped to Michigan?

+1 - it's easy to avoid though, just give it MORE GAS!
