Thumbs down

Anyone with SLPs, please post up what X-Pipe you like the most, have, or want the most and why. Explain the deepness, whether or not it burbles (or gurgles ) alot, and if it mufflers or loudens the SLP... I am specifically looking for Pro Chamber owners that are running a set-up OTHER than using the stock cats. THANKS!

I just recently added the mac x-pipe from Brenspeed. I dont have the SLP Loudmouths, but I had my local exhaust shop put the staight pipes on. The x-pipe I bought came in three pieces so you could keep your stock cats if you chose to do so, or use it as an offroad pipe. I talked to my ford dealership and they said that messing with the stock cats would result in me losing my warranty, so I decided to keep the stock cats with the x-pipe. I was very surprised when I got them put on. At first I thought it would make the exhaust tone louder but it didnt. The tone is more mellowed out now, much smoother souding. It does still burble but not as much or loud as it used to. It's a different sound but not a bad sound at all. Its quiet at stock still and when just cruising aroud, but when you still on it, it gets loud as . I can record the sound of it if I can get someone to host the file. Hope this helps you. BTW my initial intent were to use it as an offroad pipe (would have sounded bad hiney I think) but I just couldnt afford losing my warranty.

Joe that would be awesome if you could record it and have someone host it... the more i think about it, a Loudmouth with a Pro Chamber would be perfect, but I want to hear how the Chamber sounds with hi-flow cats or no cats at all...ANYONE!
