I paid the same from lmperformance.com shipped. no tax. and LMPerformance is in florida.... so it would get to you in a day or so. took a week to get to CA.

Yeah, I really liked the post and the video clips that you posted in the other thread Jordan. I'm still curious to see if there's any realy data on performance loss though.

 

Performance LOSS??? Why would there be a loss? I'm thinking reduced backpressure = more H.P.'s and less weight = quicker accell.
Am I wrong?

As for performance loss, I havent noticed any, but the "loss" if any would just be to move your torque and hp peaks up a little in the RPM range because of the slight loss in back pressure.... but because the cats are the biggest muffler in this exhaust system we are not talking much of a difference if any.

Its argueable both ways, you could lose a fraction of a HP.... but then the weight you took off could make up for it. Personally, I think its BS, with these mufflers, your peaks move up slightly, and you should produce a few more or the same HP as the same, and no matter what you won't be able to tell the difference.

I just wish that in CA I could run an off road mid pipe so I could scare women, children and small animals like I do on my bike, but I guess I can't have everything.

 

I have felt a slight improvement in accel since I put on the slps. I dont think its my imagination or a louder car either.

That's good to know that you can't feel any loss. Too bad nobody has done a dyno of the before and after.
