Whats up everybody. Just wanted some opinions. I have the SLP loudmouths and sound awesome. But after hearing Justins car I have to get them. I am just not sure who I should go with. I also am not sure how loud it will be. If anybody could help with suggestions. Info on if I can bolt these up to my "stock" 2.5 inch piping. Thanks guys. And for those of you who havent heard these things they sound FOOKEN awesome Justin I slowed down just to let you pass me so I could hear the exhaust. LOL

It would be insanely loud, like the video I posted in the other SLP thread... because with long tubes, you could not hook up the cats. So it would be straight pipes all the way. Not that this is a bad thing, infact I would LOVE to do this to my car.

I think it would problably be so loud that you would draw extra attention from local law enforcement, if you do this, you may want to get an aftermarket h/x pipe with cats to keep it at something within reason. Would love to see you do it though, and make sure you post clips if you do.

That may be a little too loud. The Cams make the lopy idle but even stock going through LTs off road H pipe and loud mouths would be like that loud.

I dont mind loud. I have checked out Stainless works and they have long tube headers where you can hook up hi flow cats at the end. But My bro (VegasJay) has magnapaks and his car isnt unbearable. I think it sounds darn good. I will soon see how loud the offroad sounds and dont you worry I will definately post some clips. I will have to leave my housing development so I dont **** off the neighbors. I will get some action clips in as well dont you fret

Keep the suggestions coming

I think I will get the LTs and offroad pipe and then decide on whether to get the loudmouths or maybe stay with the stock mufflers or a different aftermarket kit

As loud as that black SN95 is, an S197 would be louder since the older style loudmouths at least had a resonator. On the 05's its just a straight pipe, so its gona be a good bit louder.

I think for a daily driver it would be waaaay too much noise, but if your car is just a weekend warrior then ***** to the wall anything goes.

Vette's, ricer's, Camero's...they all crap thier pant's when I nail it. I would say you'll be fine with your SLP's, off-road pipe and Long tubes. Magna-Pack's are also straight through, so my system is straight pipe all the way. Now I'm going to have to supercharge it, and throw a cam in there along with dumping the pipe's out the side's to get it louder...it's never to loud...

I installed my loudmouths, at idle they sound just like the guys video thats floating around here, but once in gear they are quite loud and im hearing a slight gurgle at the lower rpms, 2k and below. Was just wondering is this normal or does a gurgle (for lack of a better explaination of the sound) mean somehting else. I will take a video camera with me tomorrow to record it and post it back up here so you can hopefully hear what im talking about.

Yeah dude that is normal. That gurgle is from the trans mission moving slower than the engine. which in turn bogs down the engine and creates that gurgling sound. I love that sound. I down shift all the time just to hear it. I just want it to be louder

That's also my favorite sound....Down shifting hard from fourth to third, hitting about 3,800 R's is a beautiful thing. Mine sound's like Steve Mcqueen's Bullit...

Would it be possible to use longtubes with cats and side pipes? That's a route I'm interested in going, but I'd like some "professional" opinions.
