Slave cylinder

Why the **** am I pissing through these things. I don't ****in get it. I'm looking at getting my 4th one. My clutch started to feel like it was engaging close to the floor ( new spec clutch and slave installed like two months ago ) so I put the car on a lift and it's damp around the bell housing. I KNOW it was not leaking a drop of oil. Has to be the slave. Is it because I've been using OE replacements instead of a ford one? I don't understand.

I would definitely use Ford parts for that. Also the Spec clutch is stiffer so that might kill a stock replacement slave. That hydraulic clutch is such a bad idea. Still can't believe Ford went with those. Figured the GM hydraulic system would have been a deterrent. Cables are just better.

Yea it's garbage. When I'm able to upgrade to the tremec magnum I'm going to look in to going cable.
