Side Exhaust

IDK if this is in the right section but who has side exhaust? Cervini, BBR, Bash? I really like the looks of the side exhaust on the new twisted stang. But if you got side exhaust lets see it!

Its pretty loud ... sounds good... set off somebody's car alarm the other night but I'm gonna be getting the ARH longtubes with catted H pipe and probably some QTECS ... it will be alot louder... I like loud..but aside from the sound - it just looks cool! btw - mine is the cervini's Side exhaust kit that I got with my Eleanor package
hope I helped a little.

I have the same as Derek with SLP LT's and O/R X pipe. It's way loud. I have yet to hear another S197 louder than mine, even with open headers my car wasn't as loud as it is with the o/r x and magnapacks. If you're not looking for loud then this is the wrong exhaust setup.

This is a custom side exhaust done by Lord's Custom Performance in Bufford,Ga. This was done before Cervini,BBR or any other company was out. It was also used in helping to developed the BBR exhaust, which is still a little different, I've heard the BBR and it was very load! The proto type was a three inch design, but I think it has been redesigned to be a little smaller. The BBR is made by Stainless works for BBR.I haven't figured how to post the picture bigger, but here a few of it. enjoy.

James, you still can't do the big pix?? You should be able to if you have photobucket.com. If you want, email me the link to your photobucket site and I'll try posting the pix for you.

William, since you have straight through mufflers,Lt's, and an O/R X,there is no restrictions in your exhaust system. It is like having open headers except the exhaust fumes have to go through more piping before being emitted into the air. The only setup that could be as loud as yours is SLP LM's,LT's,and a O/R Mid-Pipe,but I haven't even seen anyone with that setup yet,so I could be wrong.

Well I def like loud, but not crappy loud. I ran straigt through w/ LTs on my old 67 and loved it. when I put on the Pypes OR H and SLPs it sounded like complete crap. I like a deep rumble & loud as hell! lol anybody have the BBR or Bash? Its wierd to me that the BBR kit goes into a single muffler and then out almost like a prochamber???

That is some beautiful craftsmanship there! I looked at the Cervini setup and I really don't like the way they did it. I think you would have some huge flow losses with their setup. Kudos to Lord's!

(No offense to the guys with the Cervini setup! I'm just jealous!)

Thank you! David Lord is very good at his work. He has people bringing cars from all over the world to have a system done. from $100,000.00's dollar show cars to exotics. I was lucky, my girl friend is his wifes sister. All I had to do is pay for the materials and he did the rest. Now I'm just looking for to have some exhaust tips made that will fit the Eleanor opening better. I also wished it was done in stainless, but he said that this material is better and will last longer.

Mine is loud and a very good tone. I personally hate SLP LM's. My friend ran them with the SLP LT's and O/R X and it just sounded gross. It sounds much better with the magnapacks. Then you add cams and a blower and you get retarded loud.

I have the BBR body kit and the front bumper cover is so low that I haven't tried to lower it yet. The exhaust system is deffinately packed in under the car. But I haven't had any clearance problems as far as the exhaust hitting any where. It doesn't scrape any where either. a few more pictures...

If you click on each picture ,then Maximize it , the image will be large...
