How can you verify if you Mustang has side air bags or not? On the window sticker it just says air bags, driv/front pass and then in the side bar on the sticker it says driver and passenger air bags.

 

If you have side airbags, there are tags on the sides of the front seats- that's where they're at.

 

If you have the original sticker for the car there is a separate line item and cost for the side airbag option. If this is not on you sticker I would say you do NOT have side airbags. Also, the side of each front seat on the door side there is a tag on it that says "side airbag" I think the additional cost was like $355.00 in 2005 but don't hold me to that.

What Tom said... Look at the upper side(facing the doors) of the front seats. There will be a small tag attached to the seats...

I wasn't aware that any dumbasses had posted in this thread. If you are referring to my car, yes I bought the dark charcoal leather take-off seat covers. It was one of the best purchases I have made for the car.

Those things are lifesavers. I won't buy a car if it doesn't have side airbags. I had them in my last car, and they're the reason I am still around to have my Mustang today! I had a friend get hit by a truck and the side airbags saved another life. Worth every penny!
