Should I supercharge it or trade it in for a 2013?
My numbers when like this. 2008 GT 26K miles with improvements + 12,000 more to get a 5.0. Add to that 3,500 more tax and license. So there is a 15,500 hit to refresh the car. Or put on a Blower for 6,000 which I install. I have a car which I like the looks of better. It has more power than a 5.0. Does not skip shift, can get better MPGs and still has my previous mods in it. This car drives just like stock with a lot more power. Even the car wash guys can't tell. A 3.7 V-6 tried to take me on an on ramp recently. Everyone knows a 3.7 is a 4.6 GTs equal right? I put 3 car lengths on him before I was done with 2nd and he gave up. Maybe he heard the TVS. If not he had to wonder what just happened.

I'm probably going to buy a 2013 GT Premium or depending on financial conditions, maybe even a Boss 302. We'll see. I still love my car though. I took Mr. V on a canyon carving joy ride the other day and it just made me appreciate how much I love my Mustang. At the end of the day, I realize that I'll love a faster Mustang with newer styling even more, especially if it has a Torsen diff, Recaro seats, and HID headlights.
I have had the same issues. I've gone back n forth on the idea but I realized that ford will only keep making the mustang faster and better looking. I'll keep it and in a few years add to the stable. One stang is nice but two is even better. The only difference it will be a limited production vehicle. I.e GT500 etc. I look forward to getting blown. So I say keep it!
I've been conflicted too. My 2006 keeps me wanting a 66 again and maybe a newly designed 2016 DD with twin turbo. 3 in the stable is the goal. Dream Big or Go home, right...
Anyways I'm keeping the 2006. My 8 year old son has already laid claims to her. (Just for the record son I have not said yes, yet) Besides, I just put delete plates on this past weekend. I have upgraded brakes sitting on the work bench, SS brake lines in the mail, and a S/C in near future; more projects than time/$. Kids keep you young and the mileage don’t matter, just the memories.

05-09 looks better than 10+ is highly subjective as well. Its usually a phrase uttered by someone that owns an 05-09 and hasn't driven a 10+ and/or hasn't been able to move up to one.

Yes, it is very subjective since they are such similar classic body styles, but I think the switch to the next gen is going to be very divisive. If something happened to my 05 right now and I needed to get a new car, I'd get a coyote in a second, but I don't know that the modern 2015 concepts I'm seeing really evoke what I want in a mustang.
