Short Belt

I am going drag racing today and want to buy a short belt to bypass the power sterring and a/c for at the track. I know someone out there knows the length I need. I am gonna try to measure it but I'd feel better if I had something to check that measurement against. Thanx.

You can just use a sewing type tape measure

How much hp do you figure your going to gain by bypassing the A/C and P/S? Just curious, as I've never heard of that being done. Makes sense though, and seems like it could be an easy and cheap mod for the track.

Don't bypass the power steering, ron (spyder) did that and said it was undrivable.

I found the rigth size and oddly enough it is 69" if anyone else is curious. I am not sure how much it helped at the track, it was dang hot out on saturday. Yes it is drivable at the track but I wouldn't wanna drive it on the street, you only have like half the turning radius. I have heard that it is good for about a tenth in the 1/4 so that is worth it for $30.
