I have my eibach pro kit and sway bars sitting in my room. I am debating on getting shocks..but don't know which ones. Eibach has their set, but my shop can't get them til a couple weeks. Anybody out there changed their shocks when they lowered their car??

Does KYB or Bilstein have shocks for our 05 Mustang?? I know that Tokico has their D-spec. Anybody have those??

Thanks Guys...

I would say if you already have the Eibach springs, hold out for the Eibach Shocks as well, then you will have a set that is perfectly matched up.
2 weeks aint that long......

after installing my eibach pro-kit, i now wish that i had waited until i picked up some aftermarket shocks to go along with it. i personally can really tell that the shocks aren't valved properly for the springs and the rebound is :notnice:

so far i've only found: eibach dampers, tokico d-specs and the Ford Racing dampers by Multimatic Motorsports (which are actually made to work with the Ford Racing/Steeda springs).

Tokico's have only just come out so not many will have them - i'm saving up for these but it might not be until the spring for me to test them out.

I've been driving mine for a year now without changing the springs but this winter I will be installing the Eibach Pro-Damper springs. Tired of the rough ride.

Look into the Strange rear shocks from summitracing for $70 each.

KW Automotive is another spring / shock manufacturer ... you need their springs with their shocks (the fronts are coil overs) ... the rear spring has an adjustable seat, so you can adjust the ride height independently at either end.

Bilstein and Koni are slow out the gate on this one. The TOKICO D are propable the best setup that is readily available. Rebound is adjustable so gives some tunability.
