What performance differences are there between the two?
It has to be more than brakes and a supercharger.

Blown 500 hp vs N/A 300 hp motor, 5-speed vs 6-speed manual dual plate ceramic clutch. The gt500 has a better suspension set up, Larger tire wheel combo, and is heavier than a gt. You have other things like functional shift light etc.
