Shelby dual fuel pump

Has anyone priced a Shelby dual fuel pump lately? I'm debating getting the intercooler upgrade for my Whipple, but already have the Shelby fuel pump that comes in the kit. I'm trying to figure out what I could get for the Fuel pump assembly if I sold it to an individual. Any help is appreciated. And if you want a Shelby fuel pump and want to commit to buying it from me, it might make this intercooler decision a lot easier for me.

i see what you're trying to do and it
makes perfect sense.

i would first call whipple, to see if they would
sell the upgrade kit, minus the pump, harness & fpdm.

if they won't, then i would just purchase the parts
from whipple, needed for the HO upgrade.

either way, i think you'll only end up spending $1200 - $1400
and imo, is worth it.

good luck and i hope it all works out for you

Whipple only gives $140 credit for the pumps if you don't need them. Ken at Modular depot does better than that, but I still think I'm better off buying the complete kit then selling the pump to someone who can use it. By the way I just priced them at my local dealership where I get a discount. Their cost on the whole set up is $700, so needless to say I'd have to pay over $700. The cheapest I've seen them is $650, so if anyone is willing to pay $650 + shipping I'd seriously consider pulling the trigger and getting the pump shipped out to them.

You won't get $650 for GT500 fuel pump kit from a private party. I paid $625 shipped for a brand new GT500 dual pump kit from a Ford dealer. $575 + shipping is more realistic.

Robbie's would be a brand new kit, so he should be able to get $625 shipped then right?

I wouldn't buy it for that price from a private party. If the pump or harness is bad, you have no warranty. I had a bad harness on mine and the dealer worked with me to make it right with Ford Racing.

I see what you are saying Jason, but to clear things up I'd be getting this set up from a reliable advertiser on this site and I know they would make it right if there was a problem.

Thanks for havin' my back Will!
