i was going to have an SCT II tune but while at the shop, they stated they only had the SCT, not wanting to waste a day off work, I ok'd the SCT vs the SCT II tune---what is the advantage SCT II over SCT and could i realistically see more gains with the SCT II? thanks

I beleive its the same, the SCT 2 handheld just has more options, like data logging and holding more tunes.

Never heard of a different style tune but SCT used to offer a X-calibrator Version 1 which was a small black box with no display screen and only buttons. Then they released the Version 2 with the display screen, datalogging ability, and code scanning. Maybe this was what they were talking about?

Also, SCT stopped selling the X-1's January 1st so I wouldn't buy an old unit like that.

Thanks Doug.
