Curious, alot of people are using the SCT with good results. I don't have any mods on my car and may or may not be doing anything in the future, not sure yet.

I would like to get the bennifits from running higher grade gas, fuel economy and better throttle response/shifting. Does the SCT come with a stock tune or does it require you to have your car dyno tuned or what? Also once you get it, does it just plug into that port under the dash near your left knee, and you hit a button or does it need to be profesionally done?

Sorry for the goofy questions but with everyone also getting exhaust's and intakes with a tune, I'm sure there must be bone stock people interested in this product as a stand alone performance mod. What sort of gains can you expect with no other mods? I think the throttle response upgrade would be well worth the money, anything else is just a bonus to me.

The SCT was the first mod that I made on mine and the tuner comes with 3 tunes that can be loaded into the car. It comes with instructions that make it easy. It does plug into the port at your left knee and it is well worth the money IMO.

I don't know if it's because it is a Saturday morning, but that caught me by surprise and I spit coffee on my keyboard!

I had the SCT also. I never ran a dyno on it but I could feel the difference. My gas mileage did drop but I'm not sure if this was the cause.

You guys are running the SCT tune with no other mods done...? I bet it would work good with a K&N drop in filter.
