I just got off the phone with the guys at Saleen- I called them because I bought a 05 Saleen and my exhaust started rattling after 3 WEEKS!! :bang: and it was droning before that

Anyways the guys told me due to the Borlas cracking, and the excessive drone, they are going back to Magnaflow and should have a new system for me in about 2 months just thought you guys should know

 

Tom - are they going to use the whole Magnaflow setup (Magnaflow x-pipe and catbacks)?

 

He wouldnt tell me crap. In fact I originally he just told me they were going back to their old exhaust supplier and when I asked him if it was Magnaflow he was kind of hesitant but told me yes- he acted like he didnt want to tell me I tried to get more out of him but he wouldnt tell me he only said that they were having a lot of problems with their current system cracking

 

The exhaust is not cracking, the butterflies can rattle (early cars), and there is a fix for it.
