I thought 298ci was the max you would want to go with with our block?

Why is there a different part number for N/A vs Supercharged? Are the pistons a lower compression ratio for the supercharged kit? If so, what ratio is each kit?

I have been reading about this kit and was wondering if any clearance work in the block needs to be done? Anyone know? Or is it purely a bolt in?

If I remember correctly, anything higher than 298ci will cause reliability issues. If I really wanted a 302ci, I would buy the crate motor directly from Saleen or just get a 2011 GT.

Well, I don't see any reliability issues with the PJ Saleen. And that car was a 4.6, with this kit added?

I don't think they just poked and stroked it. I think they did some other stuff to it. I remember watching a video about it.

If that's all they do, at least you have a warranty with the PJ.

302 is fine, Livernois is the only company I've heard say that they use 298 because of reliability issues.

Frank, PLEASE DON'T TEMPT ME!!! Work is slow, so the funds are there right now. Maybe in a year, as I said I would let the ESP on the car kick-in after the factory warranty expires before I "crack open" the motor!

My good friend has a PJ and he also has a copy of the MM & FF article that shows the COMPLETE teardown and build-up of the engine once they get the cars from Ford. I wish I had the article or a link to post, so we can read what they did to it. Let me search Google.

If memory serves me right, I think JDM does the same as well.
