Saleen Intercooler
I have a saleen s/c and i was wondering what kinda fluid to put in the intercooler resevoir. if anyone could shed some light on how much to put, this kit is being installed and i dont know what to put in the intercooler and all...thanks

I'll be installing mine soon. Probably gonna use the 50/50 premixed type that can mix with anything. From pictures I have seen it seems to use standard Glycol Green Prestone..

I put in pre-mix. The only thing I did was to put in a color different than the main cooling system. That way if I had a coolant leak I'd tell by the color where it came from. Not saying its the right coolant though, but I'm guessing it won't hurt.

As long as it is a water-based fluid, it's compatible. The only things it needs to do is absorb heat, prevent corrosion and not freeze.
I ran pure water with water wetter in an intercooler on my 2.3 turbo in Florida and it DESTROYED a lot of the aluminum due to electrolysis corrosion. Stay with the 50/50 mix if only for that reason if you're in a warm weather locale. WA doesn't really qualify for that does it!
