Saleen Big Brake Kit 900$???

There use to be nice kit of Big Brake Kit from Saleen on e-bay for around 900$ - I can not find them any more – is that offer no more actual on market?
Any one know where I still would be able get that set in January?

The kit was discontinued because Saleen went out of business.. So those were closeout prices.. They've all likely been sold by now.

I bought a Saleen BBK kit (Made by StopTech) but last minute I went with a ROUSH setup. I have a brand new un-opened Saleen BBK kit. I think I actually paid $995.00. I'll sell it for $900.00 if you pay the shipping, PM if interested. If you're local in SoCal them hey $900 if you pick it up.

Thanks Jed, problem is I am international and I need Invoice and I guess you can not issue it.
Any way because saleen stop it I am afraid I can have problems getting replacement rotors in a future specially that I am in Europe and standard popular GT500 rotors do not fit Saleen.

That is why I am rather looking now where to buy take off GT500 Calipers as I want rotorpross dimpled and slotted rotors with them.

So changing a bit subject any ideas where to buy GT500 Calipers?

Where in SoCal are you? I'm in San Diego, very interested. Was trying to figure out a way to PM, but I just joined and maybe I can't until I have more posts.

There were some guys who purchased a huge quantity of these kits and than sold them to others who sold them all over the place. A lot of people snagged them when they were only $800 which was a great price! However, a lot of places on Ebay are charging like $1,500-$2,000 for them now. BUT!! I have seen a select few on Ebay for $900-1,000 in the past week.

Saleen isn't out of business. Saleen was sold and bought by M.J. Acquisitions...

I'm in Torrance, just south of Los Angles a short ride will save you some dough. $900.00 local sale. Shipping is est at $50 -$100 depending on distance. I had an interested party but I think he picked up a kit already.

I wouldn't be too concerned about getting replacement parts for these kits. They are made by Stoptech, so spares are readily available. In fact, Stoptech even have agents in Europe.

diameter wise they will fit, but you need to check the offset. I don't think they are as chunky as the GT500 brake calipers, but you may need a spacer or different wheels. I've been round and round on this too. Don't want to change my original factory bullitt wheels, but nothing fits under them and they can't mount a 285/40/18 tire in the rear for the staggered look I love so much. Should have bought the Gurney wheels when they were cheap last year. I do see that the new 5.0 car will come with slightly larger rotors... don't know if the calipers will change, but that factory system may be enough of an upgrade for me. Some of the german makes don't seem to need 14 and 15 inch rotors and 4 and 6 piston calipers to get great stopping performance.

So they won't fit under stock bullets, yeah I'm sure I could do just pads, but the look nice too! Well it would be a while off, spent enough lately, time to save again!

Sorry can't help you w/ the Stock wheels but if you do go w/ an aftermarket rim make sure it is at least an 18
