Perhaps......but after becoming officially biased (it was inevitable I guess), what sets Roush apart from the others as far as quality, reliability and compatibility with Ford's systems (including the motor, mechanicals and computer/electricals) is the fact that Roush & Ford were in the same room when this S/C was desiged.

Is that the same room where they designed the hyperpathetic pistons and powdered rods?

Good point Don......but I checked and confirmed that the Roush people had stepped out for a coffee break and the Ford guys quickly whipped up the pistons and rods on their own

Lasting impressions?

I'm sure by now he's use to the extra power, and probably wants more... Cause with HP there's never enough

I'm waiting for the 'i got the other pulley' post

Yeah, how soon will the new pulley (7-psi?) and tune become available? It looks like ~400 rwhp could be attainable with that one (manual trans). That would suit me fine, warranty or not.

Well Pete, to answer posts 45, 46 and 47 in order.......A couple, No, and No.
Meaning.....car's still running strong, in fact as the computer's getting used to the new tune and my driving style it seems to have gotten quicker and more responsive. Or that's maybe just the perception after scarring the crap out of myself a couple of times now. Still getting used to the power - something that only took a few days when she was stock. I took my selling dealer mgr from Airport Ford for a ride - he too got out laughing. This thing is a blast and in retrospect, well worth the money for anyone thinking of it (BEN).
As for the new pulley, not on the website yet but soon. And not for me.....yet. Truth is, +400 rwhp would be nice to brag about but right now, the power that the 5lb boost provides is plenty exciting. But I've got to get to a nice, open track somewhere and start pushing the limits on the thing. Soon. But a little suspension tuning is order first. That's on the agenda for tomorrow.....a makeover by the FR500C guys at Multimatic. I'll report on that after it's done.

Unless you're a mutant of some sort, that excitement won't last long.
