Roush stuts and shocks

I have a chance at a screaming deal on a complete front and rear set of struts and shocks by Roush to go on my otherwise unmodified suspension on my '06 G.T. Don't have the Wheaties to buy lowering springs just yet though, and I'm not sure that I really WANT to lower it. Reckon these shocks and struts would still be a good combo for handling and a not too stiff ride? I really want to use these and try them, but I want to make sure that they can be used on a car that is not lowered and has no plans of becoming that way. Any and all opinions are appreciated.

They should work fine on your 06 GT. If I were you I would save more dough and buy springs them do the entire install, why would you want to pay labor twice?

I think you should go ahead and get the springs too. I've heard lots of good things about how well the Roush suspension parts handle. I only have Roush rear springs, and they only lower the car about 2/3", and I've heard the fronts are a tad less than 1" around .9" . Every day I look at my car, I wish it was a little lower, but like having the extra ground clearance for speed bumps, which I've grounded out on even at stock height.

But if you decide to keep the stock springs, I'm sure the Roush Struts/shocks will be just fine with the stock springs.

I have the struts, springs and shocks and have been very happy with the handling and ride. It's not as low as some of the kits but I get plenty of compliments on the stance. Mine is about 1 inch in the rear and 3/4 in the front.

Buy the struts and shocks NOW and save your money for the springs and install everything at once.
