resetting computer
For those of you who have aftermarket exhaust especially SLP loudmouths... Did you guys reset your computers by taking off the battery connections... I am thinkin about doing it but wanna know if you noticed any difference?
I reset mine after the Pypes o/r H pipe. Felt a loss in low in power, so reset the computer, but still had to drive in several hundred miles before it felt "normal" again.
I read others felt a loss after installing SLP LM's, but everyone said the low end torque came back after driving it for a while.

I have never disconnected my battery for any mod (except when installing my Chase taillights), and I have not encountered any adverse effects at all... ever. And I never felt any power loss after installing any mod. Maybe I'm just lucky...
p.s. I will disconnect the battery for the header install this weekend, but only because I need to remove the starter. I could be in for a surprise if I leave the battery connected. hehe
