Recipe for 11 second Auto S197 with roush M90?
What's up guys.
Has anyone achieved 11's with a Roush m90 on an Auto?
If so what are your mods?
I want to buy a supercharger and I am still deciding on which on to get. Either m90 or tvs 520r kit from brenspeed.
My issue is I want great power but I don't want to gave to replace my fuel system and the boost-a-pump is not appealing to me for some reason.
Also getting forged internals and transmission upgrade parts for the tvs kit to make more power is way too much money on top of what the kit cost.
I can get a better deal on stage 3 for the M90 too. I just want to hit 11's at the track without spending a ton of money on one supercharger then would need additional parts for increased power.
I appreciate everyones input.

Hi, Mike,
My '07 GT Automatic ran high 11's (best of 11.79 @ 114) in the 1/4 mile with a very short list of mods....
Vortech V2 (non-intercooled) supercharger (which makes a little less power than the Roush M90), 4800 rpm stall converter (rated to flash at 3600 rpm's by its maker on an otherwise stock GT), 4.10 gears, sticky drag radials, one heat range colder copper spark plugs, aftermarket ignition coils, SLP X-Pipe with high-flow cats, and custom dyno tuning.

Currently I was thinking with the M90 to install my cams, reuse the 62mm TB and get the smaller pully with the CAI or reuse my 110mm tube from the JLT kit. Along with my exahust shorties with o/r xpipe.
I have 3:73's but I figured I would buy the TCI 3000 Stall converter, street radials, a one peice aluminum driveshaft, steeda radiator support rod to drop some weight and some better cooling tuned by which ever company I buy the M90 from.
I mean I dunno what else to add aside from that. I like the fact that I can max out the m90 and not have to buy forged internals set. I know it gets heat soaked but I intend to buy extra cooling parts for it.
Anyone else reach the 11's but with the M90?

you will 100% with out a doubt in my mind at least need some street legal drags so you can hook up and not spine for days on end, also suspention helps out a ton with take off and control. If your gonna spend 4-8 k on a SC i would get some rear tires and suspension at least.

My alloy grey '07 is in the far lane (my friend's '11 GT automatic is in the near lane).
I think the 4:10's and that stall converter really helps too haha I..
the 4.6 is a pain to mod in my opinion so much money for little hp and reliability

On a side note, the new 5.0L's are making great numbers without boost and with boost they're silly fast, but there's nothing wrong with the 4.6L 3V's.

The 5.0 you can slap a blower on and your pushing so much more hp without worrying about the internals braking or even tranny upgrades
Plus I also always feel one step behind camaros and challengers
It's the cost that bothers me. They should give 4.6 guys a break
Any hoot hopefully I make my decision next week and buy an s/c already lol

the car is tuned by jdm engineering it has a 2.49 blower pulley, ford racing throttle body, off road pro chamber, mac mufflers and a jdm cold air kit which uses a ford lightning mass air meter the car runs awsome and is on the stock fuel pump but in order to make more power the fuel pump is needed the blower sound is why I went with the m90 and jdm can make lots of power and reliabilty with there tuning

the car runs good all the time but it probably looses some power when it is 90 degrees out but I hammer the car hard and it takes it I think any blower builds heat the newer ones deal with it better but I am happy with the m90 even overdriven max boost is 10.77lbs
